Waste water and sewage treatment
 Soil Systems' biotics are ideal for use in the water treatment and sewage industry. Odour can be controlled cost-effectively without the need for dangerous chemicals or multiple applications of lime. Hydrogen Sulphide (H2S) and Ammonia (NH4) are significantly reduced, as are levels of mercaptans and other unpleasant compounds.
By establishing a community of beneficial microbes early on the the process harmful odour-producing bacteria can be excluded effectively. Sewage sludge treated in the settlement tank should need no application of lime to control odour, and settlement tanks that already smell can be quickly and effectively treated by applying Soil Systems' products. Constant application to intake streams help to ensure an odour-free plant.
