 | Bokashi is wheat or rice bran that has been inoculated with beneficial probiotics. Bokashi is easier to handle and has a longer storage life. Generally for domestic use Bokashi is superior to liquid SCD Probio Balance or OdourAway for these two reasons, however liquid probiotics do have their uses in and around the home.
The major use for Bokashi is to be added to food waste in our Kitchen Waste Composters to compost food waste and prevent bad smell from forming. Bokashi can also be sprinkled on the garden to add benefical probiotics and organic matter, and it can be added to animal feeds to promote good health and well being. Chicken particularly benefit from this.
